The Mobile Sacristy’s enclosed trailer is where the altar and liturgical items required to celebrate the Sacred Liturgy outside of a church building are stored, maintained, driven to site, and set up by JP2 Men’s Group members.
Put on the full armor of God... (Eph 6:11)
Garments reflect our inward disposition. Just as one dresses appropriately for important occasions, such as for weddings or meetings with dignitaries; how much more should we focus on our appearance, before Our Eucharistic Lord? MCG takes great pride in the quality of the Mobile Sacristy’s liturgical vestments; so, these garments might raise the hearts and minds of the faithful to their Eucharistic Lord, during the Sacred Liturgy.
The Mobile Sacristy trailer is equipped with a large quantity of sacred vessels needed to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, with utmost reverence. Due to the generosity of one of our donors, MCG recently acquired a magnificent Marian-themed Monstrance at the Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis. The new Monstrance will be used for Eucharistic Adoration, at MCG’s Mobile Sacristy events.
Prayer and Worship is at the heart of the Sacred Liturgy.
Containing these ancient words, the Roman Missal is one of the most important liturgical possessions we've been blessed with as it helps raise our hearts and minds in adoration of our Lord. Recently, we were more overly blessed to have our Archbishop Grob graciously bless this sacred book as it continues serving his flock in drawing them closer to our Lord through the reverent celebration of the Sacred Liturgy.
